The JIMÉ chairs were an exploration of material and joinery. With the help of 3D modeling programs and CNC technology, I was able to test tolerances first, then cut the final pieces of the chairs, resulting in a completely disassemblable collection. Formally, they are inspired by totems reaching high to support your back. I decided to be subversive and create a family of differing heights, crafting a dynamic composition of chairs I'm quite proud of.
