JIMÉ LampsWOODWORKING (MEDIUM)

This lamp collection draws from the language of illustrated homes, the kind of simplified, storybook architecture found in children's books and early sketches. Each lamp takes on the silhouette of a small dwelling: a pitched roof, a doorway of light. Working between hand sketches and digital modeling, I translated these flattened, illustrative forms into three-dimensional objects, letting the material push back against the simplicity of the original drawings. The result is a family of lamps that feel less like fixtures and more like tiny inhabited structures, each one glowing softly from within.
