The molinillo is not just a kitchen tool; it's a beautiful blend of tradition and innovation, specifically designed for whisking hot chocolate to frothy perfection. While this hand-carved wooden whisk has deep roots in Mexico, it also holds a special place in Colombian kitchens, bringing both utility and charm to the art of making hot chocolate. I created this piece as a response to a whisk prompt in class in which I wanted to pay homage to the Colombian kitchen I grew up in.
